1.大胆。史玉柱大胆在哪里？
1989年离开安徽统计局“下海”经商，随即在深圳研究开发出第一款产品，M6401桌面中文电脑软件。1991年，巨人公司成立，推出M-6403，当年获得大卖。到第二年，1992年，M-6403实现利润3500万元。这时史玉柱决定把巨人总部迁往珠海，同时在这一年决定要盖一栋中国最高的楼——巨人大厦，到底要盖多高，一直都没有确定，因为方案总是改来改去。多次改方案之后确定先盖70层，需资金超过10亿元。
这么多的资金从哪来？史玉柱就像出来一个办法——卖楼花，所谓楼花也就是现在通常所说的“期房”，你先交钱，等我房子建成之后你再住进了，这一举动在90年代不能不说大胆。
结果可能大家都知道，巨人大厦因为中途资金断裂，成了烂尾楼，史玉柱也因此背上了超过2亿的个人债务。
2.营销高手。
脑白金、黄金搭档的畅销大家有目共睹，就是靠脑白金的一炮而红，让他在几年内就还清了2亿多的债务，还赚了一大笔钱。
上图是网上流传的一份，当时史玉柱亲笔写下的脑白金营销方案，从简单的目录就能看出这份方案非常细，包括脑白金的营销战略、对市场的内容外部环境的分析等等。当继续往下看的时候，这份方案具体到什么人做什么事，需要几个人做等等，是一份可以用来直接执行的方案。
战略上，在这份方案中，史玉柱一开始就把目光重点放在了社区老人上，后来也经常会看到脑白金推销员在各个社区推销脑白金。
在这样具体细致的营销方案下，在来看脑白金的成功，自然水到渠成了。
3.守信用。
显然之一点表现在于他偿还2亿多债上。其实，在中国有很多人在欠下一笔巨债之后都会直接跑路，特别是最近几年火起来的P2P行业，跑路现象太多了，还不算那些目标就是搞一笔钱跑路的人。
所以，从这一点上也能看出史玉柱其实是一个很有信用的人，具有一定的中国企业家精神的。
